11+ Intensive Comprehension & VR (Easter 2022)

Past exam papers are a good source of revision material.

It is vital that the children look at past papers and familiarise themselves with the type and number of questions, timing, allocation of marks etc.

Please ask your children to use the papers and set themselves a mock. Do this systematically and seriously.

Use a quiet room with a clock or an analogue watch (nb. smart watches or fitness bands are not allowed in real exams); take in pencils, paper and an exercise book. Sit the exam as if it were the real exam, staying within the time allocation and spending

no more than the allotted time on each question or section.

How long will it take?

12 lessons in 12 weeks, and each lesson lasts for 1 hour.

How much will it cost?

£216 for the 12-session course (ie £18 per lesson). Please pay online when enrolling your child.

At the end of the course, we will self-publish your child's works to reflect, appreciate, and be proud of.

Course Image Guided Reading - Voyage of the Dawn Treader

Guided Reading - Voyage of the Dawn Treader

The Voyage of the "Dawn Treader", the third book in the series (fifth in chronological order) of The Chronicles of Narnia, where Edmund and Lucy Pevensie, as well as their priggish cousin, Eustace Scrubb, return to Narnia. There they accompany King Caspian on a voyage to find the seven lords who were banished when Caspian's uncle Miraz stole the throne. This perilous journey brought them face to face with many wonders and dangers, as they sailed toward Aslan’s Country at the eastern end of the world.

The story took place in the Narnian-year 2306/Earth year 1941/1942. (These dates were not drawn from the original books, but from later sources that don't necessarily harmonize with the story line.)

Whom is this course for?

Pupils in Key Stage 2 or younger who would like to think deeply and concentrate. Once they have graduated from fairy tales (Hans Christian Andersen, perhaps?) and picture books, young readers can move into chapter books and novels that have stood the test of time.

A great book can truly change a child's life forever.

How long will it take?

12 lessons in 12 weeks, and each lesson lasts for 1 hour.

How much will it cost?

£144 for the 12-session course (ie £12 per lesson). Please pay online when enrolling your child.
